Makeup Vanity Box was designed around a simple principle: your beauty collection is personal, so your data should never leave your phone. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what that means.
We collect nothing. Makeup Vanity Box does not require an account, sign-up, or login, and we never ask for your name, email, location, photos, or contacts. Every cosmetic entry, expiry date, travel list, and rotation schedule you create stays inside the app on your own device.
Because no personal information is ever collected, none is ever used, analyzed, profiled, or sold. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not study your habits, and we do not monetize your data in any way — there simply is no data on our end to work with.
All entries you make — your product inventory, expiry countdowns, packing lists, and seasonal skincare schedules — are stored locally in on-device storage. Nothing is uploaded to a cloud server, external database, or backend of any kind. If you delete the app, your vanity data is removed along with it.
Makeup Vanity Box does not integrate third-party analytics kits, advertising networks, or behavioral trackers. We don't share information with outside companies because no information is ever transmitted from the app in the first place.
Since your information never travels over the internet or touches an external server, there is no remote database to breach. Your data's security is tied to your own device's built-in protections, such as your phone's passcode or biometric lock.
Makeup Vanity Box does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app gathers no personal data from any user regardless of age, it is designed to be inherently friendly to family use and consistent with the spirit of COPPA.
You are always in full control of your vanity. There are no accounts to manage or delete because none exist. To remove all app data, simply delete individual entries within the app or uninstall Makeup Vanity Box entirely — both actions permanently erase the associated local data.
If our approach to privacy ever changes, we will update this policy and revise the Effective Date above. We encourage you to review this page occasionally, though our core commitment — no data collection — is central to how the app is built.
